PE 185 Abs Lower bodyFor a great all around workout which includes both cardio and strengthening exercises. The Abs/Lower Body Class will focus on toning and developing a stronger "core" including the abdominal, quadriceps, hamstrings and glute muscles. The course involves the use of many different exercises, each of which targets a desired training effect. The course will include the use of one's own body weight, Reebok core boards, aerobic benches, dumbbells, physioballs, medicine balls and resistance tubing. This class is flexible and will challenge every level of fitness.
PE 185 Cardio Kick-Boxing
This is a fast paced exercise class that combines real kick-boxing techniques to modern dance beats for a great workout. Rated as the #1 calorie burner with 600-800 calories burned per workout. This group class targets all the major muscle groups of the body for an incredibly effective workout while reducing stress and improving self-confidence.
PE 185 Step/FloorAerobic Fitness utilizing the step and floor to improve and maintain cardio-respiratory endurance, burns fat, and improves strength, flexibility and endurance. Classes will include orientation in performance technique and safety. Pre and post assessments of physical fitness components will be utilized to encourage and measure improvement. This course emphasizes cardiovascular fitness and fun. A typical class includes a warm-up, 20 to 30 minutes of high- and low-impact aerobic dance moves to train the cardiovascular system and burn calories, a cool-down, muscular endurance exercises, and stretching
PE 185 Step/SculptThis class will combine step aerobics and body sculpting to improve cardiovascular condition, flexibility and strength through the use of floor aerobics, step aerobics, resistance bands, hand weights and floor exercises.
PE 185 Body SculptThis course emphasizes muscular endurance training for the upper body, lower body, and abdominals. In a typical session, we use dumbbells, soft weights, tubing, steps, small medicine balls, and body resistance to challenge every major muscle group in the body. This class is an excellent choice for participants who get plenty of cardiovascular training through other activities and want to concentrate on muscular development
